Hello,
I've been having some strange audio syncing issues with OBS, and I can't pinpoint exactly when they started happening, as I've only recently started streaming again.
Recording with OBS, there is a massive delay on the audio for everything, somewhere around a full second. This includes both audio captured from desktop, as well as microphone. If I check "Force desktop audio to use video timestamps as a base for audio time" the problem is solved, but from what I can tell this option should only be used if necessary, so I'm wondering if there's a way to solve the problem itself rather than remedy it with the option.
I can't personally see anything wrong in the log file, but maybe someone smarter than me can.

EDIT: Received help and clarification from Jim in the chat. Looks like the problem isn't specifically known yet (or necessarily a real problem), which is exactly why the option exists.
