Hello, I'd greatly appreciate it if anyone could help me with the current issue i'm facing. Everytime when i try and record, i always get audio cutting in and out as well as stuttering, similar to this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7qUqQlmsmEY

Here's my log as well:

It says in the log that you enabled "sync audio timestamps to video timestamps" in advanced, which can mess things up. Did you try turning this option on because of the problem, or did you have it on before? It definitely shouldn't be on. otherwise.

Outside of that. usually this specific sort of strange audio issue can be due to system clock being slightly incorrect. Just checking here, but do you have an overclock on or anything? If not, and turning off that option mentioned above doesn't work, it would make me feel rather clueless. I'd have to do more tests directly with you (usually in chat, easiest way for me to do it)

Hmm, i'll try turning that option off. Yes i have overclocked my cpu from 2.8ghz to around 3.6ghz. Could that be the problem though?

Improper overclocks can cause timing calculation to do this, I've seen similar things before in relation to audio, which is why I mentioned it. It's partially due to OBS' timer methods, they're very susceptible to these sort of things, but yea, check your overclock settings. I'm probably going to try some other timing methods in the rewrite, but OBS1 can't do other timing methods currently.

I tried restoring my CPU's clocks to default speeds but apparently the issue still prevails. Any other known method to overcome this problem?

Hm, just my luck, not entirely sure what's going on at this point. I legitimately don't know what's going on in this particular case.
