Since the last few updates to OBS where the patch notes state the audio logic has been rewritten, I've had issues with audio I never had before. I tried seeing if anyone else is having issues but can't find a thread that quite describes what I'm seeing.
An audio source in my main streaming scene remains audible even once the source has been hidden, and this is the cause if the group its in is hidden, or the source itself is hidden, the other video source that's shown with this redeem is hidden correctly and doesn't show once the timer completes for the action.
But the audio continues to play through my speakers and register on the levels as playing, but the viewers on stream cant hear it, but I can through the speakers as I have monitor and output for this source. It wont stop making the sound so I had to mute it which means the redeem isn't as effective at what it's for.
Honestly I think the changes they made to how audio works were not the right direction, previous to this I had an issue where mic's and game audio where present in scenes that didn't even contain the sources for them, and no amount to changing settings on and off as instructed would rectify it. So I had to setup manual muting per scene as actions, which is a particularly inelegant solution and was a pain to setup.
