audio sounds terrible

hi all

im very new to obs so please forgive me if this is a silly question.

i have a gaming headset on my ps5 it sounds great records great no problems.
i plug it in to windows set up obs and its terrible iv followed countless online guides with filters and such but cant get it to sound decent its very hard to explain and i dont know if this is the right place to post this. i eather sound tinny . robotic . or abit like im underwater if that makes sense. no matter what filters i add or configure i cant get it to work well. any suggestions other then get a new mic this works fine and im not made of money but wanted to start recording my pc games and uploading or stream them from the pc. an external mic is no good my pc is attached to my tv in the living room so not a seperat studio/gaming room.

Sorry, no zip files.
Look at Help menu and upload the log file, then copy thre link here. And click the Analize button to see and troubleshoot common issues.

thank you for the reply but not any help.
analize log file shows nothing other then some mismached sample rates but thats not true i have checked all of them they are fine

The log doesn't lie. You're clearly not digging deep enough into the audio settings.

e log don't lie is not exactly helpfull. I know how to use a computer and all the settings match. Came hear asking for some help not sarcastic unhelpful comments.
