Audio sounding like a robot

I was streaming for about 4 hours.. everything was working fine. I then kept getting disconnected to obs. I stopped stream and reset my router/modem, restarted obs and checked a speed test. everything seemed good. I tried again and got dc again.. so I manually switched twitch servers. Once connected to a new server I wasn't dropping or disconnecting any longer however my audio sounds robotic.. spotify and my microphone. I restarted again.. changed server.. unplugged microphone after disconnecting and plugged back in.. nothing is working. I was just live and it was fine.

I went into the obs discord and they didn't really seem to have an answer just that many people are having the same exact issue right now. they told me to contact support however im not sure how to do that.

Here are my log files while the audio robotics was happening. Any help at all to resolve this would be outstanding. I should be live every day this week.. right now as I type this

FYI.. I just went live on my bot account and audio was perfect. I don't think this is an OBS issue, but instead a Twitch issue... wanted to post this incase it helps anyone else with this situation.

Do you use "Twitch VOD Track"? I just ran into a similar issue on my stream and realized it was the track 2 audio.

I went to the soundtrack docs here and realized they say "track 6" on those docs. IDK if that matters or has changed. But either way it seems there was a twitch change I think, because when I disable this mode my audio is fine. And streams elsewhere have no issues.

Could be unrelated, but I came onto the forums to see if anyone else was having this issue or it was identified and you had the closest match I saw immediately.

I ran into this issue tonight where Twitch VOD track is causing the issue. Found a thread on reddit under the twitch sub-reddit of others having the same issue and only current known workaround is to disable twitch vod track. I also tested and verified this with a clean OBS to a different twitch account I use for testing.

Yup can confirm, just had this issue. Is there a way we can report this to OBS for a future fix? we disabled it on our stream and that fixed it

can confirm, it is Twitch VOD track causing this. I disabled it and my audio was perfect. I was getting worried because nothing I was doing was working. I even uninstalled and reinstalled obs to see if it would. Just as I was about to give in for the night I came across your post and everything is good again lol. I really hope they fix this though

Can confirm as well. I logged off yesterday using he VOD track with absolutely no problems. Just clicked stop streaming and went to bed. Came back tonight. Did nothing other than click start stream. Robot voice from all sources. You could broadcast a recording from YouTube and it even sounded like a robot. Turned off the VOD track and everything was fine.

Have there been any updates to this? I am scared to use it as it sometimes works for a minutes or 10 and then goes to Hell and you have no idea it is happening.
