Question / Help Audio software microwindow issue

I'm having an issue with OBS using my digital audio workstation Reaper while streaming. I have the software set to only show Reaper, which works fine. However, I have to use addition windows inside Reaper (Showing midi piano roll, showing the VSTs that I'm using, ETC) and they're not showing up at all. Is there anything I can do so it shows these extra windows inside reaper?

If you're using Window capture with Aero enabled, it will only capture the "master" window. It will not capture sub-windows. If you want to capture all windows, you will need to disable Aero. However, that will mean it will show ALL windows. So there is no way to only capture a single application and its sub-windows.

Are there any plans to enable subwindow capture in the future?

It's not a matter of "enabling" it...it's a shortcoming of the way Windows handles windows. To my knowledge, it's not possible.
