Bug Report Audio slightly delayed when streaming from dxtory

Hi, this is an AMAZING program. So much better than XSplit, at least on my computer. However, I am having one issue: when I stream with DXTory, the sound is ever so slightly in advance of the video. It's not a huge problem, but it's quite noticable when I'm firing a shotgun in a game. I do not have the same issue when doing software capture.

Here's a twitch.tv highlight demonstrating the issue: http://www.twitch.tv/jamesaguilar/c/1789033

To some extent, you can also see it with local recording:

https://dl.dropbox.com/u/1515181/local_ ... dxtory.mp4

It's a bit harder to detected in this case. The easiest way I could figure out is to load up in VLC and slow down to 25% speed. You can easily see that the dxtory version will emit sound about 250 ms before the muzzle flare. The screen cap version shows a muzzle flash basically on the immediate next frame from when the sound comes out.

Anyway, the twitch tv example is pretty egregious. Any idea what's going on here or what I can do to fix it?

Version: .462a, also .461a

Just FYI, I moved over to Windows 8 and now the performance of screen capture is more than good enough that I don't have to use DXtory. So, I have no issue that needs addressing any more.

Actually, I have not yet tested gamecapture. XSplit's game capture performance was unusably worse than DXtory, so I assumed OBS' would be too. I'll try it out when I get home from work.

Aside: you should have a donate button somewhere on the site. If this keeps working for me for a few days, I'll chip in what I would have paid to renew my XSplit license.

Also, uh, weirdly, when I look at the twitch.tv highlight I posted earlier from a Linux machine, the sound seems to be in sync. I wonder if my browser and/or flash was just having sound issues?? Does that highlight sound out of sync to you?

That's not fair at all ;P

Jim only takes donations when he needs money for equipment. The link will be on the navbar whenever he is.

It is out of sync for me. The shoot sounds are before you really shoot. Maybe something is wrong with your Linux machine? :D
