Audio Settings

I have a problem with audio settings when using audio output mode and a custom audio device. The audio is distorted when I turn this off can only use desktop audio, the audio seems to be 'pulsing'.
The device manager shows inputs and outputs as Line(USB EMP Audio Device), Line PLE2483h (Intel (R) Display Audio, and Stereo Mix (Realtek Audio).

Sound Video and Game Controllers, (Intel (R) Display Audio, Realtek Audio, USB 2861 Device, and USB EMP Audio Device.

Have tried varying settings without success but have not been able to find the problem, any help be appreciated, am new to using this system.

Can you post screenshots of the settings, and a recording of the problem?

A log file would also be good, of the same session that produced that recording.

And it wouldn't hurt to run that log through our automated analyzer, which you can get to from my signature.
