Question / Help Audio Restarting in the middle of my recording

Hello all,

So I have been having only one issue with OBS. At one point in the video, when I move the video into adobe premiere pro, The audio restarts from the beginning, and I'm not sure why. When I play the media back in Microsoft media player, it looks fine, but as soon as it is put into Adobe Premiere Pro, The audio gets out of sync at some point. I am recording locally, I have a webcam, two images, and a game capture screen on the scene I'm using. Any ideas? If this can be fixed this would simplify my OBS experience a ton. Now, I have to screen capture the video on media player, which decreases the quality and adds time to my process when I am trying to produce a couple videos a day for my YouTube channel.

Any ideas?

Thanks,

It's so odd, it just randomly cuts out at a certain point in the video and I don't have audio for the rest of the thing.

I have the same issue, even recording with FFSplit. At the late part of the video (Around 16 minutes in), the sound starts playing from some other part of the video. I also use CFR @ 30 FPS, 1080p.

This is a problem with Adobe Premiere and not the recording software you are using. You have to clear out your media cache folders.
The folders are located in C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Adobe\Common

In that folder, look for the Media Cache and Media Cache Files folders.
Delete all of the contents of those folders but leave the folders themselves in tact.

If you cannot see your AppData folder, make sure you have your view settings set to Show hidden files, folders, and drives.

I was having this problem and it was driving me crazy too, hope this helps!
