Question / Help Audio Problems with Windows 10

I have been recording streaming music with Windows 7, using AD Sound Recorder software. Since installing Windows 10, whenever I record using the software, the sound that is recorded includes any sound in the room, not just what is playing on the laptop. So the external microphone is doing the recording. When I went to sound devices, there is only one option, listed as Microphone VIA HD audio default device. Any ideas as to how I can resolve this problem would be appreciated.
 
Just to update - I seem to be missing the realtek HD audio manager that I have on my old laptop. I went to the realtek site and downloaded and ran the HD audio codecs, but nothing happened. I imagine I have to install the Realtek HD audio manager, but haven't been able to figure out how.
