Audio Problems with Finale 27

Log File: https://obsproject.com/logs/UG5KppzuxrYqsEUO

I am trying to record somre videos for educational purpose with Finale 27. When I click in playback I can listen to the music (headphones connected to the external soundcard Steinberg UR22) but no signal appears in the OBS programe. I have checked and it must be connected to the Line Out of the soundcard, but it doesn't work.

Thank you in advance

Set the Steinberg UR22 to 48k in the windows settings.
Use it as Standard-Audiodevice in Windows (hence playback from Finale).

Then drop it all from OBS (you have sourced the UR22 more than once, it seems), as global device(s) and in a scene.

Take it as "Desktop Audio" device into OBS once.
Then see (and unmute) if the soundlevel in OBS audiomixer moves (at "Desktop Audio") while Finale is playing.
If you hear double playing (with headphones in UR22), set in the advanced tab to "output only" (without monitoring).

Thanks Konsolenritter

I have not found where I can switch to 48k, only that it is working at 44.1k. I tried to change in OBS to 44.1k but nothing happened.

As you can see in the image, now I only have source is enabled, but it does not work either.

Best regards

Set the Steinberg UR22 to 48k in the windows settings.
Use it as Standard-Audiodevice in Windows (hence playback from Finale).

These two steps you have to do in the windows system, not within OBS. Look for "sound settings" or something alike. There you can set properties like the current/standard audio device. A bit more hidden under the hood you can set the default sampling rate. The dialog (even in win10) looks something like this:

I have tried to change that but it is not allowed. As you can see n the picture the text box is in a grey colour and it can not be opened in order to choose another option. In addition while in the Line you have sound it can not be heard inside OBS.

Best regards

On the other hand, I can use de microphine conected to the same UR22 without any ploblems...

Another hint is (to be generic) to close all apps (including OBS) that may have access to the audio device the moment you try to change the samplerate.

Hi Zeros and Konsolenritter

I have traied all the steps once more but I dont't obtain a good result. In fact, I can find the set up of the UR22 (without mkII, only UR22). Consequently I can't change the sampling rate (that it is shown in a grey colour).

I have, also, installed once more the driver of the UR22 but nothing happens.

Thank you very much and best regards!
