Question / Help Audio problems please help!!

I was testing out my audio on obs while streaming and testing the recording and for some reason it sounds choppy like it randomly cuts out on some parts of letters. I am not using any filters on obs and also have tested it on audacity and it is all okay, I've only had this problem with obs

I'm having the same issue with capturing HDMI audio from my Nintendo Switch going into a Blackmagic Intensity Pro.

I can get rid of the pulsating issue by changing my Audio capture settings to "Output audio to desktop" but this also seems to delay the audio around 1sec. It's pretty infuriating as I've seen a few people have this issue but never a response from anyone on a fix.

UPDATE: Well I seemed to have solved my issue by switching my capture device from "Blackmagic WDM" to "Decklink" and also changing the audio device to "Decklink Audio capture" instead of "Line In (Blackmagic Audio)" I know this is kinda specific to my model of capture card but perhaps changing up your selected Devices will fix the issue.
