Hi guys. I'm using OBS for few days now and I have a new headphones with microphone. Anyway, When I try to stream I have a problem with the audio part. I mean... you can hear the same sound twice. First sound is from system, music, game, etc and the 2nd sound is the same one, but is from microphone. What can I do to stop the mic doing that? I tried with mic noise gate and i got... nothing. The sound is too powerful to be stoped by noise gate and now I have no idea what shall I do next. Any ideas?

P.S. Sorry for my bad english.

Make sure your Microphone is selected correctly and not your stereomix or a similar device.
For more help a logfile would be good, and maybe screenshots of your playback and recording devices.

The microphone is selected. Now it seems that this microphone has the same problem with skype too. Here you have my logfile:

I dont know what to say... I think there is a problem from volumes or something. I dont know.

Are you watching your own stream while you're live? OBS will record audio from your browser too.
Are you using speakers in addition to your headphones? Your mic would be picking that up.

No. I know that, but the thing is... I hear everything ok, but when I do rewatch that stream, I can hear the sound double. As I said before, one is from the system, game, etc and one is from my microphone.

Does the problem stop if you go to Settings > Audio and change Microphone/Auxiliary Audio Device to "Disable"?

Yes, it does stop. Even when the microphone is on mute everything is ok. If I use my laptop microphone and headphones everything is also ok. But when I try to use the mic from my heaphones... I have this problem.

Not sure what to tell you then, especially if the mic on your laptop works properly and your headset mic also has issues with other programs. Not an OBS problem at least.

Almost the same problem with skype too. I mean... If I dont set the volumes very low, the other person can hear what music I listen. So as I said before, I have to set the volumes on low and to go with that.

Thx for helping me, guys. I appreciate it.
