I think that by telling you that I have followed instructions means exactly that. No screenshots are needed. I am not a fool and I have a lot of experience handling home video ever since Betamax was launched in 1975.
No one is immune to glaring errors, and the possibility increases with age. Not because old things change, but because new things don't match it anymore.
One thing is certain, OBS is perhaps one of the most confusing and difficult to learn softwares I've used.
OBS *is* a pile of bandaids on top of a much simpler original idea. The audio system specifically, seems to have been effectively frozen after the release of the not-so-new-anymore "Application Audio Capture" and other app- and game-specific things that still have bugs in them.
The reason for that freeze seems to be to figure out what to replace that pile of band-aids with, that can actually be maintained going forward, and supports what people are actually doing with it *now*.
So I would expect the present problems to continue as they are for quite some time, and then have EVERYTHING replaced with the new version, whatever it is. Nobody's rig is going to survive that, so start documenting it now so you can rebuild it from scratch (and from that documentation) in the new version, whenever it eventually comes out.
...I send you the video with the problem. However, it is large and I can't attach it here.
YouTube! :-) Or a similar platform.
Upload it as Unlisted, and post the link here.
Direct file-sharing sites are less reliable, mostly because of their permissions structure. Content distribution sites like YT and others seem to work better, and they also stop malware by only allowing a picture and sound to get through.
