so basically every time i record a video and then go to watch it back the audio is perfectly synced with the video for like a minute and a half and then it starts to get increasingly faster to where the audio is like 5 minutes ahead of what the video is actually showing. Does anyone know how to fix this ? I can show my settings but idk how to turn it into a link lol

Please post a log with your issue! Here's how...
OBS Studio creates a log file each time you run it which contains very useful diagnostic information. Without a log file, it's much harder for any support volunteers to figure out problems and your post may be ignored. To upload a log file, go to the Help menu > Log Files > Upload Last Log...

okay so what does this mean? like what should i do? i have a refurbished lenovo think centre m91p pc and everything runs pretty okay but this is the only problem im having with obs studios. heres my new log file and I basically just need to know if i can do sims 4 youtube videos with obs on my specific pc or not. If not, is there any other softwares that are good and that would be compatible with my pc ? please let me know and thank you for your help either way
Use the Analyzer yourself this time. Some problems are gone now, but there are still a bunch to fix.
Except I'd leave the "Run as Administrator" off for now. That seems to be needed to get around some stoopid Windoze permissions, but it's also a security risk. If it ends up working just fine as not-admin, then keep it not-admin.

Probably not, because *creating* video requires a LOT of computational work! The standards are heavily weighted towards easy playback, and so the creation side becomes rather intensive to make that happen. If your machine can't keep up with that, then no other software will work either.
okay so i changed the fps and the bit rate and now theres nothing in red but its still syaing that my igpu can be a issue should i keep pursuing making sims 4 videos with obs studios or should i just give it up lol and thank you for your responses
Maybe. Try it and see if it falls flat on its face.
If this machine runs the game just fine by itself, then you might get another computer and a video capture device to do the recordings on. Physical wire between the gaming machine and the capture/recording machine, and each optimized for its specific task with no compromises.
Beware of cheap capture devices though: they advertise well, but that's *all* they do well. For one example, it might make a big deal about USB 3 and how much better it is than USB 2, and show pictures of the USB 3 connector, etc. - all of which is true - but then it has a USB 2 chip behind that connector! So you still only get a drinking straw to cram your video through, instead of the firehose that was advertised. And they have other problems too...
That's one place where you do want to spend about $100 for a name brand that actually does what it says. I have six $20 USB captures that are all deceptive and not used anymore. (four of them were bought at the same time for a 4-input rig, then replaced with a single 4-input PCIe card that works a LOT better!)
