Audio Output from any source is being listened by the Audio Input Device

Hi,
I'm using an external usb sound card ( V8 ). My microphone and Speaker/Headphones are attached to it and in my system, these are detected separately as
Microphone (v8)
Speakers (v8)

But in OBS, the Audio Input Capture (setup as Microphone V8) is actually listening to the audio stream (coming from youtube actually), even when Audio Output Capture (Speaker V8) is muted, it is still able to record the youtube audio stream, as well as when I speak in the Microphone v8. Here is the screenshot.

Ideally, it should never record background music coming from the browser when Audio Output Capture is muted.

How can I correct it?

Thanks & Regards

Right-click the empty area of the audio mixer widget->unhide all. If hidden sources appear, make sure these are not the ones that add your Youtube audio. Hidden sources are not muted, they are just hidden.

Also check Settings->Audio->Global Audio Devices to make sure you have exactly the sources defined globally you want to define. Usually, you add all audio sources here and not use any audio input capture or audio output capture sources within your scenes.

Thanks for the reply.
There are no hidden devices. And all the global Audio devices are disabled. I added custom devices for Audio Input and Audio output Capture.

Thanks

your image shows that the audio levels for both are exactly the same. (even the one that is muted)
Does this suggest that you are not separating the audio as you think?
