Audio output from a video played on OBS to Zoom

I've previously used VB cables for having the audio of the video to play from OBS to Zoom, but in the past months VB cable doesn't work anymore or at least gives me horrible audio no matter how many times I've reinstalled it. Is there an alternative for this?

I usually need it for live streams where I have to play a video and the participants on Zoom needs to watch and hear the video as well. I just need Zoom participants to hear the video while I'm streaming it elsewhere.

Other than trying an alternative virtual audio cable or figuring out why VB Cable isn't working for you anymore I don't really have any other suggestion. Personally I would try and root cause why VB Cable isn't working anymore as I and lots of others use it all the time without issue. so it is likely a local set-up issue. Without knowing why it isn't working, any other option you try may be prone to the same issue disrupting that as well...so my suggestion is to try and do some further root cause investigation on VB Cable and go from there. Maybe post a log file here and the allow the expertise that is undoubtably here on this forum help you out. There are lots of people with fantastic experience of audio issues and analyzing log files that may help you out.
