I am trying to livestream my church service on the church's youtube channel. I am using OBS and an external mic and camera. The church has a sound system with microphones on the priest and at the lectern. Before I was using OBS, the mic for the livestream, which I had placed near a church speaker, was able to pick up all parts of the church service, including talking and singing from various parts of the church whether the sound was coming over the church speaker or not. When I started using OBS, I find that the audio now only captures sound coming out of the speaker. The organ music, singing from the congregation, and anything that isn't said directly into the church sound system seems to be being suppressed. I don't have any suppression settings enabled and I tried turning up the OBS gain filter setting for the external microphone with no significant change/improvement. Is there a way to increase the amount of background sound that the external mic is picking up?
