I see this in the next release bug fixes:
Fixed an issue where audio monitoring could have significant latency on Linux [kkartaltepe]
Do we think this might have a Mac impact as well? The problem that I reported was a delay in Media Source monitoring for music videos, though it's a sporadic problem. This problem has the flavor of a memory leak or a buffering bug, as it's not constant and a restart of OBS always corrects the problem. Had it again on an M1 Mac with Monterey today, but only after 2 hours of streaming. The monitor signal was delayed and so the singer was behind the music we were hearing, even though in her ears her timing was perfect.
