I am pretty new to OBS, but I have used it now one time successfully for a FBLive show I did a couple days ago. During that show, I had to find a way to set the audio monitor so I could hear the playback of a video that I was playing along with live using a split screen. I had the monitor for the microphones turned off. Yesterday, I opened my DAW (I use Sonar 3X Producer) to do a little recording and discovered that I cannot monitor what I am recording, I can only listen after it has been recorded. I opened Audacity to compare and see the same problem. SO THE QUESTION IS: Where is this switch? How did a setting that OBS made effect the way this works in my other audio recording software, and how do I fix this? Help please! My audio interface is known to OBS as 4fx - it is a Roland Edirol 4FX external usb audio interface.
