Question / Help Audio Monitor to HDMI for remote projector?

Hi all,
I'm new to OBS any trying to figure out how to the get live stream sound out to a remote projector / sound system in an adjacent building.
This is a small church. I'm using OBS to live stream a single camera, with sound coming from the sound board with a Scarlett Solo USB.
Before streaming with OBS, I recorded the service with a camcorder. I fed the camera with sound from the soundboard, and then also pushed the camera's HDMI (with sound from the board) through an HDMI distribution system to the adjacent building's projector and sound system.
I'm planning to use Full Screen Preview to send live-stream video to the remote projector, and I would like to have the live-stream sound also sent in the HDMI.
Should I use the Advanced Audio Settings >> Monitor And Output to output sound to the live stream and also 'monitor' sound out to the computer's HDMI audio device?
The other option I'm considering is using an HDMI audio inserter to to take send a separate mix from the sound board.
Is there a better approach that I'm missing?
Thanks!

Does my question make sense??? I'm feeding audio from my sound board into the laptop, and need to mix that with the PC system sound, and push that combined audio out HDMI.
So for the main house sound, I'm pushing PC system sound out the Scarlett Solo to the mixing board. And for the remote projection system, I'm wanting to combine audio from the soundboard with PC system audio and send that combined mix out HDMI.
Is OBS "Monitor" the right way to do that?

I think this can only be done with an HDMI embedded If anyone has any other way I’d sure be interested

Thanks y’all. I got it working.
It wasn’t an OBS problem. I’ve got 2 hdmi outputs that are apparently video only. I got an adapter for the DisplayPort output and found that It DOES pass audio.

Hi,
Do you mind explaining more extensively how you got this working?
I am trying to send out the audio to CAM LINK 4K. That way I can use OBS to add graphics and playback recorded videos in the stream.
But so far I have not been able to get audio over displayport output in the camlink.

I eventually got it working with the Monitor option in Advanced Audio Settings. For each source in the OBS mixer, there’s an option to only output to the stream, or output and Monitor.
This will create another mix and send it to one of the computer audio devices. Presumably you’re got a USB audio device for the main sound system, and you could also send the OBS mix to another audio device and use that to monitor the OBS audio output.
The monitor device is selected in Settings >>Audio.
Here’s how I’m using it:
I’m sending a full screen preview to a display ( now hdmi in my case). That display is actually an HDMI matrix distribution system, which sends that video to another building. Full screen preview is only video, no audio.
I use the OBS mixer’s “Monitor “ feature to send the livestream audio to the HDMI port’s audio device. That combines OBS audio with the video HDMI output
Does that make sense?
Cheers
Walter
