Audio Meters - Clipping Indicator

Hey team, love the new meters. Could they be updated so the little square to the left of the meters only turns red when the signal actually begins clipping? i.e. at 0.0db, If you wanted to be safe, you could have it turn red at -1.0db

Meters in audio programs like Pro Tools and Ableton turn red and stay red after clipping has occurred. After you correct the audio level, you can click the indicator to re-enable it.

I keep getting triggered when audio meters light up red and the audio is still safely below clipping.

The actual clipping should be indicated by a white color.

But I agree with you that this is confusing: convention would be rather to indicate clipping by some red indicator, but this UI became a little bit too intelligent and tried to cram too much information in a few pixels.

IMHO there is a closely related UI issue that is explained here: refine input level indicator · OBS Studio Ideas and Suggestions (pleas upvote that issue if you agree).
