Recording with the problem (same as stream) : https://youtu.be/yijipn70p9M

Problem same on streaming

I use a voice meter on the gameplay scene with all sources different. MUsic source is duplicated on both scenes in this vid I was testing issue so music is muted on "stay tuned" intro wait scene
I am not sure what the problem is I matched all input-output audio frequencies and checked everything STILL NO solution :(
*not sure if it channel problem or what . plz guide me in the right direction if you can ill research the topic once I know what exactly is it

It seems related to your media source "Media Source". If you set this to play speed 100%, is it gone then?
What if voicemeeter and obs both all set to 48k?

edit : media source is in *.webm format

I know. I've just seen that the clicking noise is exactly the moment when the media sources audio part (it appears in the audio mixer!) is activated or deactivated.

I've seen also that you muted those track already. So its a little bit mysterious then. :/
Why did you route all the sources to different tracks, including anonymous "Track6"? Which track do we hear in your yt example?

In my yt sample all we hear is desktop but I tested no sound is fed to desktop neither it is making any sound on equalizer but thud is present in both stream and recording

I made different audio tracks as it makes editing video easy when I want to use specific sound at a specific point in video generally discord convo and music etc disrupts many good clips so ..

i checked and muted every audio source and out (in audio mixer ) i still hear the thud sound in recording *pulling my hair out at this point *
PS tried to apply filters too nothing worked

I just consider if that issue is linked to the fact of splitting into a couple of tracks. My thinking is: What happens to an (output) track if its only input track is (muted or not) disappearing during a scene switch... Got me? Maybe this disturbes the encoding or muxing process in any way. What if you reduce to one output track and ensure that at least one input track is ever available to the encoder for that output track? (I know: It's just guessing...)

Duplicate current Scene Collection and remove sources one by one until switching noise disappear (remove not only new sources but all).

in my testing, I found that no matter if the track present in the previous or next scene the thosound is irrespective of that

good advice , I went through with it but the problem after I found the issue was ..... WHEN YOU DELETE SOMETHING FROM DUPLICATE SCENE IT GETS REMOVED FRONM ORIGINAL TOO lol
anways so I found out
1> when I remove the "media source" from "intro scene" the thud sound disappears when transition to "intro scene" and remains there when going back to " gameplay " scene
2> when my audio track "DISCORD" and INPUT CAPTURE "Mic voicemeter" is removes the thud sound goes away completely .

+

I also found out if i add my audio input capture directly from mic ARCTIS 5 the thud starts again while changing to the scene

FINALLY FIXED IT ALL ! ty for inputs ....
The issue got fixed by changing the transition effect to stinger to all scenes instead of fading to colour
