Question / Help Audio looping while streaming

Hi guys got my stream sorted, running at around 720p
my problem is when streaming if i watch myself on twitch i mute it but i can still hear the music im playing on spotify a minute behind and any noise in my game a minute behind

what can i do so that i can only hear whats live?

Short version, if you're hearing yourself a minute behind, you absolutely have a copy of your stream open in some tab (or on your Dashboard) which is NOT muted. Really shouldn't be watching your stream from the same system you're streaming from, anyway.

If you want to see what your stream looks like, either enable local recording and watch it afterwards, or enable stream saving on twitch.

I wanted to see what it looked like, i changed some settings in my OBS and restarted my stream seemed to have fixed it.

why shouldnt i watch it from the same system im streaming from?

One basic answer is for bandwidth, but that's not a critical problem (minimal stability problems, depending on bandwidth).

Another answer is, if you watch your stream on your twitch.tv or hitbox.tv or whatever without the sound muted, this webpage will 'send' audio to your default audio device, and if you let the 'Desktop Audio Device' in OBS to be your default audio device, then it will be included in your stream and thus cause audio looping.

Bandwidth, as well as the CPU utilization needed to decode/watch the stream. The Flash player is notoriously 'heavy', and if you're running an edge case you can end up dropping/skipping frames sometimes. Then there's the audio looping problem, too.
