Ok so I was "singing" to a song on youtube and after I finished my stream I was like ok lets see how much of a fool I made of myself. So I was watching the video and my voice was way out of sync with the video playing on my computer. At the time of recording I am on time however. After discovering this I did some recordings to a metronome on youtube and simply clapping to the beat and sure enough they don't match up. I am not using any hardware modifications for example a physical mixing board but I am using voicemeter banana which is a digital software mimicking a physical mixing board.
My question: Has anyone had this issue and any thoughts on getting everything to sync up perfectly? I am aware of creating delays on microphones in obs but yeah I'm kinda stumped on this one.
ps. I used to record music back in the day and had to get a sound card and it removed all delay and was virtually real time monitoring with no delay. Would I have to do the same? like maybe my on board sound card just cant process the information fast enough?
again any help and or opinions are appreciated. Thank you!
