Question / Help Audio Issues

Whenever I try to stream, or even just record a video I lose audio going to my headset. The recording/stream still has audio, but I can't hear anything myself. This only happens when I use my bluetooth headset, not a regular audio jack headset. Is there a way to fix this, and if so how?

That sounds like some sort of driver bug or something. OBS definitely isn't directly messing with that sort of stuff, it just wants to listen to the audio, it doesn't modify anything or try to disconnect anything, it just is using the built-in windows stuff to listen to the audio. My only suggestion that I could think of would be to try selecting a different audio device in audio settings and see if that changes anything, it's kind of a loose guess admittedly. I've just never really heard of this sort of thing happening before.

What specific headset do you use?

It's a turtle beach px-5. Also, I've tried changing the audio device but it still cuts the audio when I'm recording.

I unfortunately don't know if I have an answer. Do you think you could post a log file with this? Maybe something about this will show up in the log file.

There was one point where it had an error saying the device was unplugged, but other than that, nothing wrong with the audio that I can see.

(By the way, avoid using monitor capture if possible, especially when aero is enabled)
