Audio issues

Hello,

I am streaming for my church. I have done test recordings. When we go through OBS the low end frequencies are stripped out and is doesn't have the bottom in the sound. I have tested using an irighd2. I have monitored the mix coming out of the aux send of the board. At this point I'm assuming it's the computer we are using. But the irig goes through the usb and still get the same sound result. I have changed the audio bit rate to 320. I have done everything I can and I still get the same hollow sound.

Example:
Same song:

My first thought is that you're running a stereo unbalanced signal into a mono balanced input. Same plug, not compatible.
The balanced input dutifully takes the *difference* between the two wires and passes that on as the signal, when what you really want is the *sum*, or to keep them separate as actual stereo.
Thus, whatever's panned center (usually kick drum, bass instruments, and lead vocal at least) drops out, and whatever's off-center stays there in proportion to how off-center it is.

Another thought is that something in your audio chain isn't made for low-frequency content, and so it filters it out. Don't know *why* an electronic thing would do that...unless it's really meant to drive a tiny speaker, and they put the speaker-protection filter in the wrong place???

Anyway, I think we need some more detail:
  • What's the entire rig? Not holistic, but as a collection of parts. What are all the parts?
  • How are all of those parts wired together? What type of plugs? What type of signal is on each plug? Etc.
  • What processing do you have where?
  • Etc.
