Audio Issues on Windows 10

I have a client with a Windows 10 Laptop. OBS has ran smoothly for months but now audio is no longer picking up the audio input. They are using an ATEM Mini switcher to push audio and video to OBS. Other programs on the computer can pick it up audio and videom from the switcher (Zoom, MS Teams). I can also connect the equipment to a mac and still get audio and video. Any suggestions on a fix to get audio to show up in OBS? Please feel free to ask clarifing questions, Thanks for all your help!

I had something similar this happen this last weekend
I had done both OS updates, and there was a Realtek Audio driver update
Audio was working, but like a soft mute

The OBS Audio Source was listed as Default, and I (re-)selected the specific audio input (RealTek, in this case) and all was well

I mention as a driver update could change something enough that OBS no longer recognizes it as the previously selected input. [I'm talking specific Audio Sources, vs a generic/global Desktop Audio which I avoid due to audio routing considerations (echo, etc).. ymmv]

Also, probably not, but check OS (not OBS) permissions on OBS access to Audio
Maybe an OS update and an old/outdated Atem driver?
