Audio Issues in OBS

So, I am having MAJOR issues with my audio in OBS. I genuinely CANNOT figure out what the problem is. I am unfamiliar with OBS, and I am not good with technology. I am recording a video for my YouTube channel, and I am playing The Sims 4. Every time I booted my game up, my audio is sort of lagging and cutting out. I've tried countless things such as changing my audio monotoring, I've checked my stats and fixed my rendering lag, I've checked my sample rate, My audio input and output devices which are set to my gaming headphones I have, I've changed my proccess priority, I've went to the network settings and changed the "Bind to IP", and I've been watching countless of videos on how to fix it and it never works. I tried even changing my device settings, such as my sound settings, changing my audio input and output device to my headphones. It feels like I've tried everything, and I am still unable to find and solve the issue. Can anyone help me figure out this problem and how to fix it? I am really trying to post on my YouTube channel, but iI can't because OBS is giving me problems. Thank you for your time!

1. you posted to forum about OBS Studio development.
Yours is a support request, which you should post in the appropriate Operating System forum (Windows, Linux, or Mac) AFTER following the pinned posts, especially the one about posting your OBS Studio log from a session that has a problem
And, the OBS Studio log will not tell folks how your audio system is physically connected and any audio manipulation software in place ... sorry technical details are likely required.

Having audio (form a separate source) get behind video is unusual, Audio, being much smaller and less computationally intensive to process, usually gets ahead of video. Regardless, such a mis-match either a sign of an overloaded (for the given settings/workload) PC, or something (Operating System level, other application, or OBS Studio itself) misconfigured for the available hardware resource
