So I have been recording a few videos testing out my audio quality when streaming. And I did but theres this SHSHSHSHHSHSHS sound that we all know. But only when my microphone goes up it does this. Believe its called background something. It sounds like a really weird just little static. Most of us know it but I cant seem to stop it. Microphone Noise Gate, Audio settings. Just messed around with them... Nothing works any tips?

Make sure the mic is plugged in all the way... Make sure the cable isn't tightly wound across other cables, especially power cables or power bricks. Try other microphones to see if they have less noise. Personally I use a USB Microphone and have no problems with it, but every headset mic I use has really bad hiss when used on the analog mic input of my sound card.

Thanks I'll try to do that. I am using a headset mic. Most people these days are getting the Blue mics snowballs whatever. Those seem to work perfectly so we'll see.
