Audio Issue

My audio has all the sudden gone to crap after several years of using obs. It sounds like more than one mic is being recorded. I have gone down every troubleshooting path I know. From doing complete uninstalls of any OBS files in my system and re-installing, to swapping hardware. The issue does not show itself with other interfaces or in DAW's. I can use Streamlabs and not have this issue. However, Streamlabs does not have EQ'ing or the ability to add in VST plugins (that I know), which is something I value about OBS. If there is the ability for me to send or post a video file that gives an example of this, please let me know how.

Do you have something set to "Default"? That follows the operating system's choice of device, which can and does change without warning. Then your rig suddenly breaks for seemingly no reason.

Don't ever use "Default", unless you have a specific reason to actually want that auto-switch. Always choose a specific device, or "Disabled", or delete the source. Don't keep stuff around that you don't use.

It sounds like more than one mic is being recorded.
Do they have different content? Is it multiple copies of the same content with a delay in between? Words generally don't do so well to describe sound problems. Recordings are much better.

See if my first point fixes it. If not, screenshot the settings and post a recording.
