Hello! ive been having this issue for YEARS now, this issue affected my youtube career.

Problem is that when i record in obs my microphone cuts for a split second.

its really weird, microphone is normal in audacity and any other application.

I looked searched everywhere, couldnt find any fix.

heres videos showcasing a problem

Things I Tried & More Info:

* My mic is Fifine ampligame am8.
* I am on Laptop (Acer nitro 5).
* I Dont use Usb hub or anything like that.
* The CPU isn't under a heavy load during my streams/recordings. The issue persists even if no game is running.
* I've recorded using hardware AND software encoding.
* Problem is in both broadcasts and recordings.
* I've recorded in Audacity at the same time as OBS to confirm that the cutouts only happen in OBS recordings, so it doesn't seem like a hardware issue.
* The sample rate for all audio devices has been set to 44.1khz, which matches my OBS settings.
* I've tested the mic with filters and without.
* The gain knob on my mic is pretty low. It's definitely not peaking unless I shout into it point-blank.
* I've tried running Streamlabs as administrator.
* There doesn't seem to be any correlation with my speaking volume or keyboard/mouse inputs.
* I've tried using OBS as well as SLOBS. No discernable difference.
* I've tried "Exclusive Mode" on and off under Windows sound settings.
* No discernable difference when I change the audio bitrate.

I would really appreciate some assistance in figuring out what the issue is. I feel like I've tried just about everything, and I'm getting pretty fed up. Thanks in advance!
