Hello,
Since I've been using OBS Studio (a little over a year now), there's this audio issue that's been going on with many games I stream in general. Never have I had that kind of issue when I used to use OBS Classic before...
In short, there's this static/scratchy kind of noise going on that I had never had before when using Classic, so naturally it made me think some settings were off. I started changing many different settings but nothing fixed the issue.
Now to show you what kind of noise I'm talking about, here are 2 clips of the game called Cave Story with a specific song being is basically the best example where the noise is easily noticeable.
The first clip was done with OBS Classic, which is nice and clean without the weird noise in question.
However, the second was recorded with OBS Studiowhich is a real mess, I'm sure you'll notice:
Classic -> https://youtu.be/Q4D8_b87BLI
Studio -> https://youtu.be/AU_4M7z9zg4 - pay close attention around 0:10, this is where it goes crazy...
Note: if you're curious about how the song actually sounds like, here's an mp3 link to the song -> https://puu.sh/AwIdp.mp3
I would like to remind, that kind of noise doesn't only happen with Cave Story, but also with other games and especially when the audio is sort of high pitch. At least that's the conclusion I have come with, based on my observations (listenings).
To further provide information about this, here are screenshots of my current OBS Studio settings:

I have no idea if it can be related to some of my PC parts, but in any case, here's a list of the parts -> https://pcpartpicker.com/list/69pJBm
Note: all drivers are up to date and I use Windows 7 Ultimate - 64 bits
As I said earlier, I tried many different settings in OBS/different encodings/bitrates (for both audio and video), as well as change my windows audio format settings, tried 16bit/24bit w/ both 44.1k Hz and/or 48k Hz (made sure the sample rate was similar in both OBS and windows of course), and I've always been getting the same results.
Moreover, I only have 1 output device connected and nothing else, so I don't think it has to do with conflicting or whatever, I'm honestly not that good with audio stuff in general, so I wouldn't know...
This issue has been going on for quite a while now so any kind of help is very much appreciated.
Thank you in advance.
