Question / Help Audio is fine, video comes out as green static.

I have been trying every setting that there is, but whenever I try to record as a window capture I either get a black screen and perfect audio, or a flickering, distorted screen of different file icons and still perfect audio.

Yes, I have a scene. My sources I have tried are window capture, and Display capture. I have uploaded several logs, but no problems came up except for one recommendation not to change the CPU usage preset, although for the record that changed nothing when I tried to adjust it.

I can upload the mp4's if you would like. I also tried using different formats, but they all turned out the same.

I am using an early 2009 iMac,
processor 3.06 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo
memory 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3
startup disk Macintosh HD
Graphics card GeForce GT 130 512 MB

I am using the most up to date versions of both OBS and OS X.

I posted a thread on the wrong forum, and tried their advice, which was to lower the resolution. I did so, but then it stopped recording video altogether; gave me the black screen.
What can I do?

Did you take a look at my video? Try changing some of the settings, and tell me if you get similar static.

I have the exact same problem with an early 2009 mackintosh. I think we are screwed since their is no other way to stream. What should we do ? any suggestion ?
