Hello, I have this problem where my audio input capture not only records my microphone input (which it should), but also records the desktop audio (which it shouldn't because I already have an Audio Output Capture of my desktop), so the final recording has 2 desktop audios playing at the same time like an echo which is not what should happen. I did not have this problem a few days ago, but suddenly as of the day I write this post I am facing this issue. Here's what I tried :
-Uncheck "Listen to this Device" in Windows sound settings : It was already unchecked.
-Mute desktop audio in OBS Studio : That entirely mutes the desktop audio while recording.
-Change output device in audio input : The other devices either don't work or have horrible quality.
-Remove Audio Input Capture and put it back : Still didn't work.
-Remove Audio Output Capture : The recording still has the echoing audio.
I am not sure what other options could there be, but these reasons may also be why this problem is ongoing :
-I had installed VB cable before, and I uninstalled it from the Windows Apps settings, and made sure it wasn't present in the Device Manager. Though maybe I could have missed a step.
-My headphone has both its audio jack and its microphone jack plugged to a single port. Would I need a specific microphone to avoid that issue?
I am not sure what more can I do, any suggestions against this issue would be appreciated.
