Hey guys so obs is supposed to support multi audio track recording right? well how come when i have it set to have it record tracks one and two, mic on one and desktop sound on two, it only picks up my mic audio what am i do wrong?

Video players only play a single track at a time. If you used a container like mkv that can handle multiple audio tracks, you can change between the tracks from the video player.

I am using the mp4 format, trying to record mic, game, and discord audio all on separate tracks

You should never use mp4 to record since they corrupt easily. Rather use mkv and remux to mp4 if needed (file -> remux).
What are you using to check the audio tracks?

Dilaz is right. I just spent 4 hours recording some amazing game footage only for the mp4 to corrupt. I really wanted that footage too and I am so gutted
