Hello forum,
I have a question and I can't seem to figure out what is happening. I use OBS, elgato game capture HD, Acer predator monitors, a blue yeti, and razor kraken chroma headsets for my streaming setup. I have streamed numerous times with no issues then took a break for a little while. When I came back to stream my monitor would no longer display the game. That issue has been fixed with an upscale connector; however, the audio no longer comes from my headphones. Nothing in my setup has changed other than the monitors and adding the blue yeti. I used to have LG monitors and use the mic on my kraken. Now when I switch to the HDMI display on my predator I get visual, but no audio in the headset. I get audio when I unmute the monitor, but I want them in my headphones so OBS can pick up the game audio in it's system while I get live audio in the headphones without getting overlap from it capturing both sources over the blue yeti.
Hopefully this makes sense the way I am writing. I am not sure if it is because I added the blue yeti and it has a headphone jack and is overwriting the USB kraken headset or what, but I am at a loss. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
