Hi! I've been using OBS for around a month. I hadn't had any problems with it until recently. My audio now lags behind my video. This includes desktop audio, and my microphone, which remain sync'd with each other, but are a couple seconds behind the video.It's fixed if I enable "Force desktop audio to use video timestamps as a base for audio time," which I didn't have to do in the past, and which the OBS guide says "should actually never happen anymore," adding "if this happens email Jim immidiately."
I'm not sure how to email Jim, so I thought I'd post here! I'm not sure why this has started happening, and I don't know if there are any drawbacks to the "Force desktop audio" option I should be aware of. But I thought I'd report it! Along with a log of my most recent stream in which this audio desync was present.
