Hey Guys,

I just got a church onto streaming on Youtube since all the quarantine measures keep them from having services. When I'm there listening to the audio through my headset it sound great no issue but when it streams the audio OBS is adding some kind of audio gain where it will cut as people start and stop talking.

Here's a link to the stream we did today.
https://youtu.be/IiLbBYOoZMM - go to 16:00 and you can hear the audio coming in and out

How do I turn off this audio setting that is bring the audio up and down?

Thanks!

OBS applies no filtering at all by default. Most likely this is Windows' Voice Communication auto-ducking in effect.
Go into Sound, the Communications tab at the top, and select Do Nothing.

If that isn't it, post a logfile from your live session and we can take a look at what's happening on the back end.

Awesome I will go and try this. I'll get back to you on how it works. Thanks :D
