Question / Help Audio from one scene carries on playing when switching to another scenent

Hi,
Just started testing out OBS and wondered if it's a bug rather than 'as designed' where an audio track from one scene carries on playing after switching to a new scene.

Currently I use a 'Standby' scene which has videos playing of game trailers which has video & audio. When I switch to my 'Intro' scene the audio from my 'Standby' scene keeps playing & doesn't stop even though I'm on a new scene.

Is there a way to stop this happening? Am I missing something obvious or is it a bug?

Secondly & kind of related, but can a video within a scene be able to be rewound back to the beginning. I use my Intro video as an Outro too when I end my stream but again I've not seen an option to restart the video when you load up a scene.

Thanks for any help

I believe so long as the video source you're using for that audio isn't a Global Source, it should stop. Otherwise, the video remains loaded and playing in the background. I haven't used the video source plugin for a while though.

If a video source is not Global, it should be loaded when the scene is switched to, and play from there. That said, it will take a second or two to actually load the video up into memory and start playing it.

Unless you're using MP and/or aren't using the classic Video plugin. At that point all bets are off.
