Question / Help Audio from microphone is echoing and gameplay footage is choppy

Greetings smart people of the internet! i downloaded OBS today to start recording gameplay videos and i have been trying for the last 3 hours to fix the issues i have been having :( ive tried multiple different settings and nothing seems to fix it and im not sure if its a problem from my PC or from my OBS settings.

My gameplay is either good quality or bad quality depending on my OBS settings but always has very choppy footage, in game i am getting very high frames with no issues its just the recording that does.

My microphone also either sounds robotic or it echoes or both :(

let me know if there is any more information i can provide and thanks in advance!!

PC BUILD:
Graphics: 1060 6gb OC
Memory: 32 gb Corsair Vengeance DDR4
CPU: intel i5 9600k

Regarding performance:

Most of your attempts show small, but noticeable amounts of both rendering lag (GPU overload) and encoding lag (your NVENC encoder).
