I decided to try to stream Dark Souls 3 today. I opened it before starting OBS, and played for a minute with no sound issues. Then I started OBS and began to stream. I started Dark Souls again and when I am in Dark Souls 3 the audio cuts out every five seconds, and then comes back after five seconds. In 5, out 5, in 5, out 5.
It also takes my microphone audio with it. I am using a Logitech G430 with USB. I've been pulling my hair out trying to figure out what's going on. I suspected it had something to do with audio devices, but the Logitech is my default device, and I even went so far as to uninstall all my other audio playback devices to try to get it to work.
Now I still have DS3 open in the background, I have alt-tabbed out to my browser, and the sound is playing perfectly without cutting in and out: jackiechanwtf.gif
Has anyone else ever seen something like this? I googled and found absolutely nothing of any use.
