Question / Help Audio for CLR alert

I've been using Branebot for the last month in my stream but I have had to continue using twitchalerts for my CLR alerts because when I plug in the address for branebot, OBS says "Your browser does not support the audio element".
It says this right on the stream where the notification would appear.
I asked the devs at branebot and they suggested updating the CLR plugin software. I have done that multiple times and it does not help. The fact that the message says something about audio element leads me to think its a programming issue with the html5 code. That I have no control over.

It sounds like your specific audio alert is in an unsupported format compared to the browser plugin.

So, does that mean there's a problem with the mp3 that I'm using specifically? Or just with branebot in general?

I just made a new file, changing it to a .wav and it still does it. Even tried different mp3 files and wav files and it says says "does not support audio element".
All of these work with twitchalerts however.

I also tried the exact same setup in Xsplit and it works fine. I'd rather not use Xsplit however and prefer to stay with OBS.

Both browser plugins (classic's clr browser and the browser plugin for multiplatform) are based on chrome. I'd say that the branebot servers are likely misconfigured if the mp3 works fine when using it with twitchalerts.
