Wow, I have had a hell of ride behind me before I found this forum. Now I hope one of you can help me.
I'm using OBS with Jitsi and everything's running smoothly and comfortably. Well, everything besides the audio filters.
The setup is the following: 1 Microphone (Shure SM58) going into a Zoom H5 (set to "Audio Interface") via Jack Plug, additionally one Midi Controller connected via XLR to the same H5.
Now this H5 is connected to a MacBook Pro via USB.
At this point, it's getting tricky. Using OBS and Jitsi (tried it with Zoom as well, it's the same), both me and my student can perfectly hear my voice and my keys.
But no effect seems to be working. I tried noise gates, compressors, even pitchproof as a VST-plugin. Nothing works. The sound comes through just fine. The effects don't.
