Audio failing to come through bluetooth headphones headphones when OBS is open.

When my wired headphones broke cause of the cable being too short, I decided to buy wireless headphones to make my time on the PC a bit easier (Steelseries Arctis Pro Wireless to be exact). But when I open up OBS studio, all audio from my headphones just shut off which made me unable to hear anything from my PC, this also made my headphone's sidetone go up to max (Which means I can hear myself). Is there anyway to fix this? As I am unable to record videos or stream to twitch. I've been told to buy wired headphones but I'm not going back to wired or spending any money on headphones just to fix this.

Hello,
I have the same problem but with a wired headset.
I have the game sounds when obs is closed, but when it is open, even without being live, the sounds skip.

@j3r0ti If not, just check if you enabled monitoring (audio mixer --> extended properties, "monitor and output"...)
Hello, in fact the problem does not come from there, after a few tests, the problem seems to come from my corsair hs60 pro headphones. I don't know why, with my old headphones no problem, but with him... So I'm going to have to change my headphones.

This wired headsets do end in an TRS or TRRS plug (using computers sound card), or is it USB-plugged?
Seems your problem is sound driver dependent.

It goes through usb. I only take usb headphones. I tried to plug it into a jack directly on the pc, but no sound, I just plugged it directly into the micro wave 3, it seems to work, I would do some tests, but I had taken this headset for 7.1 it's annoying

Yepp. Every device ending in an usb connector is no passive microphone or headset. Instead it's a complete small "soundcard" of its own. Hence different behaviour, different options and often even different drivers.

There are threads here in the forum describing the different behaviour of (in this case: wireless) earphones versus headsets. They are distinct logical device modes. I don't remember the exactly topic, but you should find one...
