So I recently got myself a switch 2 and attached it to OBS with an input capture (with audio).
Currently I have 2 screens one is my main monitor (the laptop) and a smart TV. When I put the audio output setting on my laptop to the smart TV, the tv would instantly know to play the audio from the tv speaker even when I have the switch output on my laptop.
However when I do it with the switch 2 with the same setting, it doesn’t work like that, even when I set my audio output on my laptop to be the smart tv, the switch 2 output audio still plays from the laptop instead of the smart tv.
The only way I could get around this is go into settings, audio and then manually change the monitoring device to the smart tv for this to work. Why?? How can I make the audio output automatic again for the monitoring device without needing to manually do so.
Please help.
