Audio distorts when voice is peaking

Hey guys,

so I tried to apply some filters to my microphone. So far I'm very happy with these settings except for this one thing:

It seems that when my voice is peaking volume-wise something decides to distorts / decreases my voices' volume extremely.

Example:

I've also attached a picture of the filters I applied and the settings that come with them:

I'm also using a Blue Yeti.

Any advice is apprecciated :).

In the clip the voice isn't distorted. Play it on another device and see.
Probably an issue in your PC audio settings, or the device you're using to monitor it.

Played it back on my pc and on my phone. As soon as I get louder (00:08) it gets distorted in some way.
If it really doesn’t distort on your end I‘ll certainly be confused to no end :D

You can hear the other person broken mic in between and could be percived as distortion but it isn't.

Anyway, dind't notice before but the order of the filters is wrong. The compressor should be set after the noise gate and noise supression, and probably you'll not need the noise supression.

There is no other person in the video, it's just me.

But thanks for the info! I didn't know there was any relevancy to the order of the filters. Maybe that'll fix the problem! :)

Found the solution, for anyone having a similiar problem:

My voice sometimes gets high pitched (i.e. when laughing, screaming, etc.) the Noise Suppression basically blocked my voice, as far as I understand. When turning off noise suppression this issue doesn't occur.
