Hi everyone!
I've been using OBS for a few years now (LOVE IT) and this is my first time posting here.
I have had an audio issue for quite some time and finally decided to make an account and ask for help.
Whenever I record or stream a video with just one audio source active (a mic) I have no issues. Once I add in a second audio source (like background music) my first audio source (the mic) becomes what I would describe as distorted, tinny and hissy. I have tried recording in all available formats, have changed audio, video and recording settings, but the problem never goes away.
I have recorded a sample video and will upload just the audio here. The first take has two audio sources activated (I turned the background music down very low so the hissing can be heard better, notice how the S's sound at the end of words) The second take only has one audio source and the mic audio is super clean. I hope you can hear the difference.
