Audio disconnection on stream while switching screens

I have a dual monitor setup and just started streaming Fivem/GTAV game content. I am running game on my laptop screen and other stuff runs on an external monitor. The problem is that whenever i am switching mouse to second screen the game audio disconnects on stream. Being a noob to OBS/streaming excuse me if the query is dumb, is there anyway i could transmit audio of the game eventhough am working on something off of the auxillary screen.

Is your audio part of a scene? If so, then it goes away when you switch away from that scene. That's on purpose.

If you want the audio to continue regardless, you need to use a global source instead. Settings -> Audio.
