Question / Help Audio destroyed with long recording

I made a recorded video yesterday with around 4 hours video and figured out that the sound was destroyed...
The settings are the following:

The file properties are:

The picture quality was fine, the audio quality not, it was completely destroyed, as you can see here.

I tried now another short recording and there it worked.
So I am not sure what could be the problem and if it will occur again.
Maybe someone has a tipp for me ?

Im not super savy, and ive been googling this most the morning, I recorded a lengthy audio, but on playback (even in VLC) i dont hear any of the sound. if it's gone, oh well just would rather know if there is a way of fixing it or not

I tried an nother recording today.
Nearly 5 hours and the same issue with the audio.

another test:
Recorded a short 3 min video.Same result.
When I restarted OBS the recording was fine.
